Gate 1 — Name the workflow, not the model

Write the job in one sentence a new hire would understand. "We use GPT-4o" is not a workflow. "A support agent drafts a reply to a billing ticket, a human sends it" is a workflow.

If you cannot name the human who is accountable when it is wrong, stop. Do not buy more model. Fix the job description first.

4. A record of each live call: who asked, what was allowed, what happened.
